How unfair life can be when your dog died from a tumor but your neighbour's dog survived.
How unfair life is because she was born with a silver spoon while all you have was just enough to support your life.
To me the real question is.
How do you define the word Fair?
Lawyer studied law for years to fight for a fair scene in the court.
You learn to be a good mother by trying to give your love equally to all your kids.
You work hard and you want to be promoted in return for your time and contribution.
Everyone has the right to judge the word fair but what is the true meaning of fair?
..........................
My boyfriend is away now, living his form 3 dreams that is to study in Melbourne. Following the footsteps of his elder sister, he set his heart on Melbourne years ago and he is living his dream now.
I set my goal on a stage. I wished to perform on a stage since I was 4 and I did several times in gigs and of course, Fete De La Musique in June 2010 and Dentyne Terrar-oke competition July 2011.
With dreams, comes consequences and circumstances. I'm happy I performed but I begin to realized that I'm not a true performer as I go along with the competition. Of course, winning the cash prize was fantastic but the circumstances to reach there. Was 3k enough after all the time and effort I put in the competition? Was it, hmm. "Fair?"
Scene 2 :
My boyfriend is living his life with other people and spending his time with his housemates most of the time while I was left here in Malaysia with memories and the silhouette of him. Everywhere I go I see the image of him beside me while over there, he is building memories with people. New people who makes a difference in his life now. Fair?
After the great flush of ideas and thought, I came to a conclusion that the word FAIR is UNJUSTIFIABLE. When things gets rough, you wish to be in someone else's position who is doing better than you are now but when life's like sliding on a rainbow with treasures at both ends, you feel blessed and happy to be well, you.
Where there's yin, there yang.
In short, nothing comes in a box of good things everyday. You've got to earn and work for it to get the right things. Sometimes, good things comes for no reason but some days, bad luck comes to drain the happiness out of you.
There is no proper explanation to this except that it's just a how life works. Nothing's fair and nothing's unfair either.
"Life's what you make of it." - says Daddy Soong.
